Job Summary

A medical technology company is filling a position for a Telecommute Senior Cloud Software Engineer.

Candidates will be responsible for the following:

  • Making key decisions about tooling, platforms, and frameworks while developing microservices and APIs
  • Translating wireframes and sketches into HTML and CSS and working with frontend and fullstack developers
  • Performing code reviews and mentor other developers

Required Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field plus 8+ years’ experience OR
  • Masters Degree in Computer Science and 6+ years of experience
  • Able to work with Product and UI/UX designers
  • Familiarity with Node.js, Flask/Nginx, Docker, PostgreSQL, SQLAlchemy
  • Outstanding frontend web development (Javascript, Typescript) and modern frameworks (React)
  • Able to build and develop APIs and restful web services
