Job Summary

A consulting company that specializes in health and human services management is filling a position for a Telecommute Senior CMS SME Healthcare Policy Analyst in Richmond.

Candidates will be responsible for the following:

• Reviewing existing state government policies and procedures related to state and federally-funded medical services
• Applying CMS subject matter expertise to determine congruence between national guidelines and state policies & procedures
• Using writing skills to revise obsolete procedures and draft new procedures

Required Skills:

• Deep knowledge of Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services regulations
• Minimum of three years of experience writing health care policies and procedures
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree
• Experience and knowledge of Home and Community Based Services for people with intellectual & developmental disabilities
• Proven abilities as a CME SME with outstanding writing skills
