Job Summary
A quality assurance company has a current position open for a Telecommute Senior Database Administrator.
Candidates will be responsible for the following:
- Providing support for the internal data scientists analytics efforts
- Managing the backup and restore of data storage systems
- Monitoring data-storage implementations ensuring they are fault tolerant and up-to-date
Must meet the following requirements for consideration:
- Experience running a production environment on AWS
- Strong analytical skills: identifying and predicting problems, collecting data to support your conclusions
- Minimal comfortability with linux and windows platforms
- Solid understanding of SQL and DB performance tuning concepts
- Natural troubleshooting skills
- Good understanding of Data modeling techniques
