Job Summary

A technology platform for employment background checks is searching for a person to fill their position for a Telecommute Senior Database Reliability Engineer in Denver.

Candidates will be responsible for the following:

  • Implementing, maintaining and troubleshooting database systems
  • Working on database performance tuning for availability, replication, backups, and optimization
  • Implementing security best practices for databases

Qualifications for this position include:

  • Solid knowledge of relational database concepts
  • Advanced level of experience with Postgres, MySQL, and Mongo database administration
  • Experience with cloud databases such as RDS, Aurora, DynamoDB, ElasticCache, MongoDB Atlas
  • Solid people skills and ability to guide software engineers
  • Experience working with Infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform and Cloudformation
