Job Summary

A software company needs applicants for an opening for a Telecommute Senior DevOps Engineer.

Candidates will be responsible for the following:

  • Building and maintaining scripts for deploying Java applications into cloud infrastructure
  • Responding to live issues while working across multi-discipline teams
  • Implementing large-scale containerization strategies

Skills and Requirements Include:

  • Ability to travel up to 10% of the time
  • Experience in building Jenkins jobs for CI and CD of Java applications
  • Experience in design and development of Java applications running on Apache Tomcat or similar
  • Basic database skills and understanding of SQL, Stored Procedures and basic performance tuning
