Job Summary

A staffing agency is in need of a Telecommute Senior Diabetes Medical Communications Director in Newtown.

Must be able to:

• Be accountable for all medical aspects of publications
• Work collaboratively with the scientific affairs team to assure high quality, accurate medical/scientific content
• Create and execute scientifically sound publications/publication planning activities

Position Requirements Include:

• 4+ years or more of experience in a Publications/Publications Planning and Medical Communications environment
• Advanced Degree in Science (PhD, MD, Pharm D degree)
• Diabetes therapeutic experience required
• Ability to review & mentor junior writers
• Strong scientific acumen and ability to quickly learn new therapeutic areas
• Content development and oversight experience
• Strong publications and publication planning experience is required for this role
• Computer proficient in Microsoft
