A staffing company is in need of a Telecommute Senior Software Engineer in Phoenix.

Core Responsibilities Include:

  • Working on a collaborative agile team
  • Building and architecting applications in Elixir
  • Making the web based SaaS product even more scalable

Skills and Requirements Include:

  • 1 day remote per week
  • 5+ years of experience as a back-end, infrastructure, performance, or API engineer
  • 3 years of experience building large-scale, distributed, high-volume systems
  • Object-oriented and/or functional programming skills in modern language (Ruby, Go, Elixir, PHP, Python, Scala, or equivalent)
  • Familiarity with Linux/Unix and Open Source technologies, particularly on AWS
  • Good Communication skills
