Job Summary

A data center maintenance company has a current position open for a Telecommute Senior EMC Storage Engineer.

Core Responsibilities of this position include:

  • Assisting in the architecture, solutions, modifications and upgrades of EMC Storage Area Network
  • Working on engineering, designing and implementation of various EMC SAN solutions and applications
  • Becoming familiar with EMC hardware and software products, technologies and concepts

Qualifications for this position include:

  • Background in the EMC VNX platform, including VNX troubleshooting and Recovery
  • Hands on experience with EMC Storage technologies including lsilon, VMAX, VNX, XtremeIO, VPLEX, RecoverPoint, and Data Domain
  • Experience with virtualization, Microsoft, Linux, IBM, Cisco, SAN and replication technologies required
  • Expert troubleshooter with a highly developed ability to resolve difficult problems and salable and maintainable solutions
  • Experience completing proactive and preventative system upgrades
  • All other requirements necessary for this position
