Job Summary
An education solutions provider needs applicants for an opening for a Telecommute Senior English Language Arts Learning Designer.
Candidates will be responsible for the following:
- Supporting ELA strategy through prototyping and guideline development
- Helping to research and develop instructional approach to whole-child learning
- Supporting the Director, Learning Design, ELA, and guiding learning design
Must meet the following requirements for consideration:
- Participate in focus groups, customer interviews, field tests, and site visits
- 5+ years experience in ELA classroom teaching, education, and curriculum design
- Understanding of pedagogy of emergent/beginning literacy and foundational skills development
- 3+ years experience creating the learning design of commercial product in educational technology
- Demonstrated track record in productizing educational research in thoughtful and innovative ways
- Experience with a variety of innovative instructional modalities and design approaches
