Job Summary

A university has a current position open for a Telecommute Senior Inpatient Coding Specialist in Nashville.

Candidates will be responsible for the following:

• Organizing and prioritizing complex coding work
• Assigning the most appropriate diagnosis and procedures
• Serving as a clinical coding subject matter expert

Required Skills:

• Must have one of the following coding certs: RHIT, RHIA, CPC, CCS, COC, CPC-H, CCS-P
• Ability to utilize multiple sources of data to analyze and resolve complex problems
• Ability to act as a go-to resource for colleagues with less experience
• Ability to lead small project teams
