Job Summary
A holding company for several property and casualty insurance companies needs applicants for an opening for a Telecommute Senior Insurance Commercial Lines Actuarial Analyst.
Candidates will be responsible for the following:
- Assisting updating actuarial rate indications and actuarial assumption updates
- Leading annual WC rate revision analysis, filings, and objection management
- Monitoring and analyzing profitability and providing thoughtful recommendations to business partners
Qualifications for this position include:
- Bachelor’s Degree or higher in a relevant technical field
- 2+ Years of experience in an actuarial discipline
- 3 or more passed actuarial exams and actively pursuing their P&C actuarial credentials
- Excellent communication skills
- Proficient using Microsoft Office, including Excel
- Project organization and time management skills to balance conflicting priorities
