Job Summary

An international insurance company is filling a position for a Telecommute Senior Insurance Data Scientist.

Core Responsibilities Include:

  • Using data to improve underwriting decisions for the company
  • Building advanced analytical models and other data science efforts for a range of business problems
  • Building build innovative data science solutions from scratch and helping drive the team’s agenda early on

Must meet the following requirements for consideration:

  • Master's degree or higher with quantitative focus in Econometrics, Statistics, Operations Research, Computer Science or related field or
  • Bachelor's degree with quantitative focus in Econometrics, Statistics, Operations Research, Computer Science or related field
  • Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience in Statistical/Quantitative Modeling and/or Machine Learning tools
  • Experience using various database tools processing large volumes of structured and unstructured data
  • Ability to use data to improve underwriting decisions for the company
