Job Summary

A scientific research company has an open position for a Telecommute Senior Java Developer in Arlington.

Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:

  • Troubleshooting production problems within assigned applications software
  • Contributing to the design and execution planning for complex software systems
  • Designing, developing, testing, debugging, and deploying in-house software applications

Required Skills:

  • Telework 2 days a week
  • Experience in software development and prototyping
  • Requires a BS Degree and 8-12 years of relevant experience or Master's with 6-10 years
  • The ability to acquire a Public Trust security clearance
  • Ability to prioritize, status, and multitask
  • Expertise with Java/J2EE, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, SQL, RDMS, JSON, full software development life-cycle experience
