A healthcare company is seeking a Telecommute Senior Machine Learning Data Scientist.
Core Responsibilities of this position include:
- Improving on and extending the analytic methods in our payment integrity products
- Conducting hands-on data analysis and predictive analytics on large datasets
- Effectively communicating complex technical results to business partners
Applicants must meet the following qualifications:
- BS, MS or PhD in Applied Mathematics, Physics, Computer Science, Statistics or related technical field
- 3+ years of hands-on experience in data analysis and predictive analytics with machine learning
- Experience in data science languages such as R, Python, and SQL
- Experience applying computational algorithms and statistical methods to structured and unstructured data
- Experience wrangling large datasets with big data tools such as Hadoop, Hive and Spark
- Experience combining analytic methods with advanced data visualizations
