Job Summary
A health insurance company is seeking a Telecommute Senior Medical Investigator.
Candidates will be responsible for the following:
- Investigating medium to highly complex cases of fraud, waste and abuse
- Detecting fraudulent activity by members, providers, employees and other parties against the Company
- Developing and deploying the most effective and efficient investigative strategy for each investigation
Must meet the following requirements for consideration:
- Bachelor’s OR Associates with 2+ years of equivalent experience with healthcare related employment
- Intermediate level of proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word
- Intermediate level of knowledge with local, state/federal laws and regulations
- Intermediate knowledge and experience in health care fraud, waste and abuse investigations
- Full COVID-19 vaccination
