Job Summary
A content delivery network has a current position open for a Telecommute Senior Network Engineer.
Core Responsibilities of this position include:
- Providing advanced networking support for internal engineering
- Building, operating, and maintaining a continually expanding global network footprint
- Responding to and managing significant traffic events
Position Requirements Include:
- Ability to travel on a limited basis for team building, conferences, and key infrastructure projects
- Strong IP routing knowledge, with a focus on troubleshooting BGP at a global level
- At least 7-10 years experience designing, building, and/or operating big networks
- Deep understanding of TCP/IP, and the potential pitfalls of anycast
- Sound understanding of how CDNs work and their position in the global internet
- All other requirements listed on the job lead
