Job Summary

A managed healthcare and insurance company has an open position for a Telecommute Senior Pharmacy Care Coordinator.

Candidates will be responsible for the following:

  • Maintaining a working knowledge of program guidelines
  • Reviewing, interpreting, and reacting to data provided by clients and customers
  • Navigating calls to pharmacy benefit manager and medical plans to determine and obtain patient benefit structure details

Applicants must meet the following qualifications:

  • High School Diploma/ GED OR 4+ years of pharmacy experience
  • 2+ years of hands–on Pharmacy Claims Processing, Benefit Verification or Prior Authorization processing, or Medical Billing/Coding experience
  • 2+ years of customer service experience
  • Full COVID-19 vaccination is an essential job function of this role
