Job Summary

Online marketplace company has a current position open for a Telecommute Senior Software Engineer.

Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:

  • Integrating DevOps methodologies into your daily practice
  • Creating and fostering relationships with production operations teams and technology leaders across the company

Qualifications Include:

  • Deep knowledge of one more automation technologies such as Ansible, Puppet or Chef
  • Strong development skills in either python or ruby
  • Experience owning and managing critical production services including Load Balancers, DNS, backups
  • Track record of shipping impactful projects in an agile fashion
  • Interest in understanding the “why,” and like to pull the thread to understand how things work
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science or related field and 6-8+ years relevant experience
