Job Summary

Online shopping company is filling a position for a Telecommute Senior Software Engineer.

Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:

  • Designing and developing high quality software based on functional and non-functional requirements
  • Participating in database design and create solutions to maintain data consistency in a distributed system
  • Ensuring adherence to software development lifecycle and software best practices

Skills and Requirements Include:

  • 5+ years as a software engineer in a web or e-commerce-based software product development organization
  • Familiarity with API design principles and hands-on experience building RESTful APIs
  • Experience with designing, architecting, building and deploying applications on AWS
  • Strong ability for coding and scripting across multiple programming languages
  • Experience with highly scalable database design
  • Experience with MS SQL, MySQL, and NoSQL databases
