Job Summary
A civil engineering consultancy has a current position open for a Telecommute Senior Substation Electrical Engineer in Austin.
Candidates will be responsible for the following:
- Making design recommendations, adaptations and modifications for utility substations
- Performing calculations using engineering formulas and skills
- Providing technical guidance to other engineers
Applicants must meet the following qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering required
- ABET accredited program or equivalent required
- PE License required
- 8-10+ years of engineering experience
- Proficient with substation protection and control design and industry standards
- Ability to perform AC & DC substation studies
