Job Summary
An electronic instrument and electromechanical device manufacturer has a current position open for a Telecommute Senior Supplier Quality Engineer.
Candidates will be responsible for the following:
- Establishing and sustaining effective partnerships with suppliers to obtain high quality
- Collaborating with other departments to identify and qualify high performance suppliers
- Assessing existing and new potential suppliers and assisting with the disqualification of under performing suppliers
Must meet the following requirements for consideration:
- 20% travel
- B.S. degree plus a minimum of 5 years of experience in manufacturing and quality processes and practices
- Proven track record of cooperative integration with internal customer/departments and with external suppliers
- Capable of applying PDCA techniques and using standard industry tools & equipment to perform inspections
- Ability to develop and recommended drawing / specification changes, interpret drawings and schematics
