Job Summary

A telecom-focused mobile apps company has an open position for a Telecommute Senior Telephony Voice Engineer.

Core Responsibilities Include:

  • Creating systems to connect seamlessly with our Carriers and CPaaS platforms
  • Designing and implementing monitoring, logging, and alerting tools
  • Designing and implementing tools for automated QA

Position Requirements Include:

  • 5+ years of industry experience in developing, configuring and troubleshooting VOIP systems
  • Experience in troubleshooting SIP (PCAP, SIP traces, etc..)
  • Prior experience in building telephony systems using Asterisk, FreeSWITCH and Kamailio a big plus
  • Positive, self-motivated and enthusiastic attitude with a strong sense of ownership
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
