Job Summary

A company that develops and sells enterprise information management software is filling a position for a Telecommute Senior Threat Research Analyst.

Must be able to:

• Assist in identifying new malware trends and patterns from meta-data, behaviours, and statistics
• Analyse data points to develop traces for future classification of legitimate and malicious software / applications / scripts
• Download malware samples within sandboxed environment & analyse behaviours of certain malware types to retrieve relevant IOCs

Required Skills:

• 2+ years’ experience in performing malware static/dynamic analysis
• 2+ years’ programming/scripting experience (eg. C, C++, C#, Perl, Java script, Python, VBScript, Powershell, etc)
• Ability to write effective YARA rules and process detections
• Experience in security related forums and industry events for malware, security, digital crimes
