Job Summary

A software technology company has a current position open for a Telecommute Senior Virtualization Engineer.

Core Responsibilities of this position include:

• Implementing and maintaining Fibre Channel boot from SAN using UCS Service Profiles
• Creating custom alerts for datastore, memory, or CPU utilization
• Maintaining VM templates for building servers in the virtual environment

Qualifications Include:

• Expected Travel: 0 - 10%
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering or equivalent
• Minimum 8 years' experience
• Experience in virtualization environment for performance tuning, capacity planning, and policy creation
• Advanced working knowledge on VMware HA Clusters, VMotion, Shared Storage, vCenter Server, vDS, DRS, Backup, FC & ISCSI
• Strong communication skills catered to a wide variety of audience (e.g. written, verbal, presentations)
