Job Summary

A logistics and transportation company is searching for a person to fill their position for a Telecommute Senior Windows System Engineer in Saint Louis.

Core Responsibilities of this position include:

  • Designing, building and operational support of the Windows server infrastructure
  • Installing, supporting, and maintaining servers or other computer systems, and planning for and responding to service outages and other problems
  • Ensuring the efficient operation of daily activities and continuous improvement and automation of products and processes

Skills and Requirements Include:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Information Systems or equivalent experience
  • 4-8 years’ experience building Windows Server architecture using virtualization, cloud, and open source tech
  • Experience delivering scalable solutions utilizing AWS and/or Microsoft Azure
  • Hands on experience with YAML and JSON
  • Ability to interface directly with product developers to understand and deliver systems built to their requirements
  • Ability to evaluate systems and make recommendations for improvement
