Job Summary

A telecommunications provider is searching for a person to fill their position for a Telecommuting Sign Language Interpreter.

Core Responsibilities of this position include:

  • Being able to effectively interpret in a dialogic manner
  • Providing effective communication in a video environment and/or on-site services environment
  • Providing interpreting services for Deaf, Hard of Hearing and hearing customers

Qualifications for this position include:

  • Provide Sign Language interpreting through video and/or on-site at various customer locations when needed
  • Must be in compliance with State Licensure requirements
  • Demonstrate high quality American Sign Language and spoken English skills
  • Must have three years current and consecutive experience interpreting through video in a call center
  • Accurate interpreting skills
