Job Summary

An information technology company has a current position open for a Telecommute Software Engineer.

Must be able to:

  • Identify solutions to customer requirements
  • Design and develop Software and innovative geospatial analytics systems
  • Leverage open source technologies built with software development best practices

Required Skills:

  • BA or BS in Computer Science, Machine learning, Data Science or GIS-related discipline
  • 5+ years of professional experience as a Software Engineer or Full Stack Developer
  • Broad knowledge of AWS technologies including AWS S3, EC2, AWS, SQS, AWS Lambda
  • Proficiency with client-side and server-side JavaScript frameworks including Angular and Node
  • Experience and proficiency with SQL, Korn, Bash, Shell, CLI) to automate and troubleshoot
  • Experience with containerization and development of microservices using Kubernetes and Docker
