Job Summary
A provider of educational solutions is in need of a Telecommute Spanish Teacher in Portland.
Core Responsibilities of this position include:
- Delivering specified course content in an online, virtual environment
- Employing synchronous and asynchronous tools to supplement course content
- Maintaining regular office hours to be reachable by students and parents
Qualifications for this position include:
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution
- Teaching certification for 9-12 or state teaching certification in Spanish with experience teaching
- Three years or more of classroom teaching experience with one year of online teaching experience
- Meet highly qualified teacher requirements and strong content and subject matter knowledge
- Strong written and verbal communication skills as well as organization and time management skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other online tools
