Job Summary

A digital transformation consulting firm is searching for a person to fill their position for a Telecommute Spark Developer.

Core Responsibilities of this position include:

  • Working with data engineering team to define and develop data ingestion
  • Developing open source platform components using Spark, Scala, Java, etc
  • Documenting code artifacts

Qualifications Include:

  • 3+ years of experience in developing large scale data processing systems
  • 3+ years of experience on working with large Hadoop projects
  • Hands-on experience with Hadoop, Hive, Sqoop, Oozie, HDFS
  • Experience with AWS and cloud environments
  • Experience with SQL including Postgres, MySQL RDBMS platforms
  • All other requirements as listed by the company
