Job Summary

An online school is searching for a person to fill their position for a Telecommute Special Education Specialist in San Diego County.

Must be able to:

  • Assist students virtually in grades Kindergarten through 12
  • Communicate with students and families via teleconference, regular phone calls, and online
  • Instruct your students online via Blackboard/Class Connect Program

Skills and Requirements Include:

  • Ability to participate in-person for state testing at a location close to where you live
  • Ability to travel (rarely) to meet in-person for IEP meetings or other responsibilities
  • California English Learner Authorization- Issued by CTC
  • Permanent California Residence (Must currently reside in San Diego County)
  • Valid/current Preliminary/Clear/Life California Education Specialist Instruction Credential in Mild/Moderate and/or Moderate/Severe Disabilities
