Job Summary

An educational company is seeking a Telecommute Special Education Teacher.

Core Responsibilities Include:

  • Developing the student's IEP, meeting all annual review timelines and notification requirements
  • Documenting all contact with parents, collaborations with general education teachers
  • Providing focused academic support to the student on a schedule

Position Requirements Include:

  • Ability to travel at least once per month within and between assigned geographic areas
  • Bachelor's degree
  • 3 years teaching experience
  • Appropriate State certification
  • Proficient in MS Excel, Word, and Outlook
  • Meets state's NCLB's Highly Qualified Teacher requirements
