Job Summary
An insurance company has an open position for a Telecommute Special Investigations Unit Manager.
Core Responsibilities of this position include:
- Providing leadership in the development of guidelines for investigations
- Obtaining, evaluating and acting on information from outside entities
- Formulating and recommending solutions to problems impacting claim policy and operations
Applicants must meet the following qualifications:
- Ability to travel
- 5-10 years of related work experience in SIU
- 5-10 years of related work experience managing Workers Compensation investigations
- 5-10 years of related work experience managing 3rd party vendors
- Strong investigative skills, experience in civil and criminal litigation
- Familiarity with sources of information in the public domain, such as social media sites
