Job Summary

A customer service provider has a current position open for a Telecommute Technical Support Engineer.

Candidates will be responsible for the following:

  • Supporting a global customer base via GitHub, community, email and ticketing systems
  • Demonstrating ownership, follow-through with customers and driving issues to resolution
  • Reproducing customer issues and testing new product functionality

Applicants must meet the following qualifications:

  • Experience in a customer-facing position
  • Excellent English written and verbal communication skills
  • Empathy for people facing technical challenges
  • 4+ years of technical work experience: support, development, engineering, etc
  • Knowledge of Networking and HTTP(S)d
  • Expertise in at least in one of the following: Python+NumPy/SciPy, R, Matlab or Haskell
