Job Summary
A customer service provider has a current position open for a Telecommute Technical Support Engineer.
Candidates will be responsible for the following:
- Supporting a global customer base via GitHub, community, email and ticketing systems
- Demonstrating ownership, follow-through with customers and driving issues to resolution
- Reproducing customer issues and testing new product functionality
Applicants must meet the following qualifications:
- Experience in a customer-facing position
- Excellent English written and verbal communication skills
- Empathy for people facing technical challenges
- 4+ years of technical work experience: support, development, engineering, etc
- Knowledge of Networking and HTTP(S)d
- Expertise in at least in one of the following: Python+NumPy/SciPy, R, Matlab or Haskell
