Job Summary

A healthcare company is filling a position for a Telecommute Technology Consultant HIPAA Subject Matter Expert.

Core Responsibilities Include:

• Providing assurance around the effectiveness and efficiency of various operational and technology processes
• Providing recommendations to drive change and follow-up to ensure remediation plans are timely
• Reporting engagement status and results, both verbally and in writing, to management

Required Skills:

• Travel 10 % of the time
• A thorough understanding of HIPAA
• A minimum of 5 years experience in IT audit, compliance, and/or IT security
• Strong ability to assess urgency and prioritization and make good decisions based upon situational circumstances
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence others
• Bachelor's Degree in Business, Information Technology, or a related field
