Job Summary
A travel company needs applicants for an opening for a Telecommute Travel Sales Vice President.
Candidates will be responsible for the following:
- Developing plans and strategies for developing business and achieving the company’s sales goals
- Creating a culture of success and ongoing business and goal achievement
- Managing the sales team to deliver profitable growth
Qualifications for this position include:
- Travel 50% of the time
- Successful experience selling technology, services and consulting services
- Successful experience closing small/mid market and start-up companies
- Successful experience managing a team of 5+ salespeople
- Successful experience utilizing a CRM to manage team sales tasks, pipeline, and closing opportunities
- Successful experience hiring and on boarding sales representatives
- Successful experience building and managing a territory
- Experience providing status reports with market and customer feedback to the corporate leadership team
