Job Summary

A travel company needs applicants for an opening for a Telecommute Travel Sales Vice President.

Candidates will be responsible for the following:

  • Developing plans and strategies for developing business and achieving the company’s sales goals
  • Creating a culture of success and ongoing business and goal achievement
  • Managing the sales team to deliver profitable growth

Qualifications for this position include:

  • Travel 50% of the time
  • Successful experience selling technology, services and consulting services
  • Successful experience closing small/mid market and start-up companies
  • Successful experience managing a team of 5+ salespeople
  • Successful experience utilizing a CRM to manage team sales tasks, pipeline, and closing opportunities
  • Successful experience hiring and on boarding sales representatives
  • Successful experience building and managing a territory
  • Experience providing status reports with market and customer feedback to the corporate leadership team
