Job Summary

A media and entertainment company has an open position for a Telecommute UE4 Character Generalist in San Francisco.

Core Responsibilities of this position include:

  • Becoming proficient on a broad mix of character-related disciplines such as modelling, texturing and shading
  • Modelling and texturing high- and low-resolution assets using 3DS Max/Maya, ZBrush, Substance, and Photoshop
  • Providing rigging and look dev ready assets that meet the technical requirements of the production pipeline

Qualifications Include:

  • 2+ years of shader development experience in games or film industry
  • 2+ years of experience using Maya, Substance Pro, Photoshop, Z-Brush or equivalents
  • 2 + years of shader development in Unreal Engine
  • High proficiency modelling in Maya and Zbrush
  • Extensive knowledge of shaders, physics and other character related developments
  • Expert understanding and attention to detail in all aspects of UV’s and shading, texturing and look development
