Job Summary

A technology company is seeking a Telecommute Underwriting and Risk Analyst.

Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:

• Assess business model risk, conduct fraud security checks and determine credit exposure on new and existing merchants to determine appropriate course of action
• Evaluate personal credit, bank and financial statements to assess credit worthiness
• Analyze merchant processing statements to calculate savings opportunities as well as identify any unusual trending

Qualifications for this position include:

• Bachelor’s degree
• 1-2 years of experience in merchant underwriting and/or merchant fraud/risk
• Demonstrated analytical mindset with a critical approach to problem solving
• Proven detail oriented mindset coupled with a high level of curiosity and risk awareness
• Ability to juggle multiple tasks and deliver consistent high performance
• Ability to monitor and investigate merchant’s processing activities to identify any unusual or concerning activity
