Job Summary
A company that provides accurate ASL interpreting services is in need of a Telecommute Video Relay Service Interpreter.
Core Responsibilities of this position include:
- Providing effective video relay service and/or video remote interpreting for consumers
- Providing excellent customer service while maintaining a respectful and professional attitude with customer and colleagues
- Exhibiting professional behavior at all times
Applicants must meet the following qualifications:
- Onsite interpreting for consumers is based on business need
- 3 years VRS experience
- Fluent ASL and spoken English language skills
- Able to provide accurate interpretation
- Good understanding of Deaf culture
- Thorough knowledge of and adherence to the NAD-RID Code of Professional Conduct
