Job Summary

A software technology corporation is in need of a Telecommute Web Real Time Communications Principal Software Developer.

Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:

  • Design, develop and support webRTC related server applications
  • Design, develop, test and troubleshoot applications
  • Document and create/update tickets

Qualifications for this position include:

  • 8+ years work experience
  • Degree in software engineering or related field
  • Familiar with several programming languages including java and javascript
  • Deep understanding and experience with webRTC stack/protocol and audio/video codecs such as VP8 and Opus and media server codecs
  • Good understanding of network layer protocols, STUN/TURN and experience troubleshooting
