Job Summary
A financial products and services provider needs applicants for an opening for a Telecommute Withholding Tax Accountant in Bellevue.
Must be able to:
- Prepare various federal, state and local tax returns
- Provide support and review for the daily/weekly/monthly/quarterly/annual reconciliations
- Prepare monthly tax account reconciliations and accounting journal entries as needed
Qualifications for this position include:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in tax/finance/general accounting/business
- 1-3 years experience in payroll accounting or payroll tax administration
- Attention to detail and strong problem solving skills
- The ability to be innovative, creative, and think critically in resolving issues and improving system
- Intermediate computer skills, especially familiarity with Excel, Word, tax compliance software
