Job Summary
A provider of innovative, technology-enabled claims is searching for a person to fill their position for a Telecommute Workers Compensation Claims Adjuster on the West Coast.
Core Responsibilities Include:
- Managing workers compensation claims determining compensability and benefits
- Developing and managing workers compensation claims' action plans
- Managing subrogation of claims and negotiates settlements
Applicants must meet the following qualifications:
- Travels as required
- 4 years of claims management experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Working knowledge of regulations, offsets and deductions, disability duration, medical management practices and Social Security and Medicare application procedure as applicable to line of business
- Excellent oral and written communication, including presentation skills
- PC literate, including Microsoft Office products
- Analytical and interpretive skills
