Job Summary
A healthcare company is seeking a Telecommute Workers Compensation Collector in Nashville.
Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:
- Working insurance pools and contacting insurance companies to resolve claims that are not paid
- Performing account follow-up and resolutionof insurance and patient receivables
- Reviewing EOB's, remits and payer correspondence
Must meet the following requirements for consideration:
- Min 1year related experience required, preferably in healthcare Relevant education may substitute experience requirement
- Can perform basic mathematical calculations, balance and reconcile figures,punctuate properly, spell correctly and transcribe
- Demonstrates knowledge and understanding of organizational policies, procedures and systems
- Demonstrates proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and others as required
- High school diploma or GED required
