Job Summary
An insurance company has a current position open for a Telecommuting Accident and Health Underwriter.
Core Responsibilities Include:
- Monitoring product forms and rate filings to ensure a competitive offering
- Reviewing all new and renewal business submissions
- Developing negotiation strategies regarding new and renewal opportunities
Required Skills:
- 5+ years experience with Accident and Health Insurance including underwriting, pricing, product and distribution
- Knowledge of underwriting and regulatory/compliance concepts, practices, and procedures
- Proficient in MS Office applications
- Must be well-organized, positive, energetic, self-motivated, and possesses strong interpersonal skills
- Proven track record of achieving results that have a clear, positive, and direct impact on business performance
