Job Summary
A college needs applicants for an opening for a Telecommuting Accounting Adjunct Instructor.
Must be able to:
- Engage in the classroom and reply to emails within 24 hours
- Evaluate and grade students' class work, assignments, and papers within given timeframe
- Participate in professional development to enhance teaching skills
Qualifications for this position include:
- A willingness to travel and teach at multiple campuses across NY and NJ, if applicable and to attend discipline specific and administrative meetings as scheduled
- An ability to teach classes during the day, the evening and/or the weekend
- A Master’s degree in accounting or MBA/JD plus CPA, required and other appropriate credentials, if applicable
- Demonstrated success in teaching at an institution of higher education
- Experience using technology and interactive electronic materials to support teaching and learning
- Experience using a Learning Management System such as Blackboard
