Job Summary

A company that provides health services is filling a position for a Telecommuting Benefit Advocate.

Core Responsibilities of this position include:

  • Answering incoming calls, e-mails, on-line chats and secure instant messages
  • Responding to benefit inquiries (e.g. medical, dental, life, STD, LTD)
  • Connect members with healthcare and wellness resources

Position Requirements Include:

  • Associates Degree; minimum of 2 years of medical clerical experience or similar; or equivalent education/experience
  • Ability to effectively organize and prioritize work demands in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, data entry and electronic mail applications.
  • Ability to adapt communication style to diverse personal, professional, cultural, and socio-economic backgrounds
