Job Summary
A healthcare company has a current position open for a Telecommuting Bilingual Spanish Patient Navigator.
Core Responsibilities of this position include:
- Verifying insurance, and make referrals in addition to other job related duties
- Scheduling appointments and sometimes following a predefined script
- Communicating with patients via telephone
Position Requirements Include:
- Proficient capability with pre-registration and insurance verification
- Adept at handling large call volumes, preferably with use of VOIP call systems
- Minimum 2 years recent experience in medical-oriented scheduling environment
- Working knowledge of the following systems: Cerner and/or PHS
- Experience with basic insurance guidelines
