Job Summary

A political non-profit organization is in need of a Telecommuting Campaign Finance Analyst.

Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:

• Participating in up-to-the-minute coverage of all campaign finance-related news in Illinois
• Tracking donation activity to illuminate political spending trends across the state.
• Providing a weekly overview of political fundraising for select state and local races on a continual basis

Required Skills:

• Able to be on-call for quick data analysis if major campaign contributions happen between the hours of 7am and 10pm, Monday through Sunday
• Must have quick data analysis skills
• Must have excellent writing skills
• Familiarity with Illinois state campaign finance laws
• Desire to learn about state and local politics in Illinois
• Familiarity with social media platforms, including Twitter
