Job Summary
An environmental nonprofit organization is in need of a Telecommuting Climate Change Operations Associate.
Core Responsibilities of this position include:
- Supporting staff hiring, onboarding and offboarding processes
- Supporting accounts payable management, maintaining diligent records
- Maintaining contributor database and ensure prompt acknowledgement of donations are completed
Qualifications for this position include:
- Must be able to get to DC for a full day twice a month, minimum
- Attending conferences and convenings of other organizations
- 1-3 years paid or unpaid experience in non-profit administration/management
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent required
- Firm understanding of nonprofit accounting policies and procedures
- Strong computer aptitude, including expertise in Microsoft Office (especially excel) and Google Docs
