Job Summary

An environmental nonprofit organization is in need of a Telecommuting Climate Change Operations Associate.

Core Responsibilities of this position include:

  • Supporting staff hiring, onboarding and offboarding processes
  • Supporting accounts payable management, maintaining diligent records
  • Maintaining contributor database and ensure prompt acknowledgement of donations are completed

Qualifications for this position include:

  • Must be able to get to DC for a full day twice a month, minimum
  • Attending conferences and convenings of other organizations
  • 1-3 years paid or unpaid experience in non-profit administration/management
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent required
  • Firm understanding of nonprofit accounting policies and procedures
  • Strong computer aptitude, including expertise in Microsoft Office (especially excel) and Google Docs
