Job Summary
A software company needs applicants for an opening for a Telecommuting Cloud Infrastructure Architect.
Candidates will be responsible for the following:
- Defining and developing cloud services road maps, reference architectures, standards, guidelines, and practices
- Engaging with various customers in blueprinting workloads and migration to cloud
- Creating cloud migration strategy as per the customer requirements
Position Requirements Include:
- Travel 35-40%
- Deep knowledge and understanding of Linux and Windows-based systems administration skills in a Cloud or Virtualized environment
- Strong scripting skills, i.e., Powershell, Python, Bash, Ruby, Perl, etc
- 3 years of experience as a technical specialist in Customer-facing roles
- Experience with any virtualized environment
- Knowledge of IP networking, VPN's, DNS, load balancing and firewalling
