Job Summary

A professional services company is searching for a person to fill their position for a Telecommuting Critical Environment Manager in Columbus.

Candidates will be responsible for the following:

  • Recognizing system design shortcomings and respond to operational and emergency situations
  • Providing diagnostic follow up in the form of Root Cause analysis, Failure mode and effects analysis
  • Developing cost-effective recommendations and business plan proposals to improve system reliability

Skills and Requirements Include:

  • 5 years of experience in facility/plant engineering and maintenance supervision
  • Managerial experience required
  • Bachelor's degree or PE in mechanical, electrical engineering preferred, or equivalent of on the job experience directing and managing a facility engineering department
  • Exposure to HVAC, fluid handling/pumping, fluid filtering, mechanical systems, welding, and electrical systems engineering and operation, back-up power design and data center design
  • Must be proficient in basic computer applications and software such as MS Office, Microsoft Project, Visio, Access, E-Mail etc
